The sheep, kept at a ratio of 5 per acre, tend the lawn by grazing through it and fertilising along the way. They appear to be the quietest lawn maintainer about, apart from this automatic mower. They don't require a docking station to recharge and they don't have batteries which eventually need replacing.

And while the lawn may not end up like your proverbial putting green, it will remain neat and tidy providing the sheep are left on their own.
